Welcome to Braintree Mencap! Braintree District Mencap CIO was formed in 1955 to help people with learning disabilities and their families. We have a wide membership throughout the Braintree District, we offer support and activities to adults who have a learning disability, as well as support for families. We hold a variety of classes and activities throughout the week, as well as various other trips and events during the year. We are a small independant charity and rely on donations and grant funding to run.

There are various costs attached to our activities 

How are services delivered?

A variety of classes run Monday - Thursday from our venue in Braintree. Our family support officer is able to visit locally for advocacy support and advice.

There is a cost for services.
