Freedom Leisure (Braintree Swimming & Fitness) - SEND Swim
At Freedom Leisure (Braintree Swimming & Fitness) we want the local community we serve to have fun, feel welcome, included and empowered to live healthy lives. We provide a range of free or low cost community activities across our sites for all ages to enjoy including SEND Swim at Braintree Swimming & Fitness (Sunday 12pm-1pm) where children and young people with a SEND diagnosis can enjoy a swim session with a parent/carer.
As both our Main Pool and Small Pool are available at this time we limit the capacity to 60 people max across the session. This is the max capacity for our Small Pool but allows people to go between both pools without going over any limits. For our Small Pool it is beach access on one side and has easy access steps on the other side. Our Main Pool has both easy access steps and a Pool Pod for access to the pool.
Our prices are £5.65 for an adult, £4.30 a child and when accompanying carers go free.

Children and young people with a SEND diagnosis. Age 0-18 years accompanied by parent or carer
We would not refuse access to siblings or family of a SEND person however they are reminded that it is designed to be a quieter session for people with those needs.
