Braintree Council: Community Support & Employment Officer

The Community Support and Employment Service is a free service alongside the Department for Work and Pensions to help residents of Braintree District get into employment by helping them find a job or gain access to training and help with any personal issues that are making it difficult to find employment. This could include assistance with CV writing, job application skills, interview skills, help finding job security and satisfaction, develop new skills, becoming more confident and assertive, meet similar minded people, revisiting education and training, improving health and wellbeing.

The drop-in every Wednesday at Braintree Library from 09:00 – 12:00 will continue until 17th December 2025.

On Friday 5th, 12th and 19th December 2025, I will be offering a drop-in at Witham Job Centre between 10:00 – 12:00 (no appointment needed)

Outside of this time, my Friday appointments will continue as normal with everyone remaining on my caseload, held every Wednesday at Braintree Library from 09:00 – 12:00.
