The Witham Community Hub
Our Warm Space will run from October to the end of March and, as the name suggests, it’s a place where you can come in and sit down for a while and grab a hot drink (our teas and coffees start at just £1.00!). The Warm Space is a great place to meet new people but also you can just sit and watch the world go by. Either way, you’re very welcome While you are with us, you can enjoy a free bowl of soup with a roll.
During your visit, why not chat to the team about our events or the other services we do that may be of help to you; we are very happy to assist with a range of issues, so please do ask.
The Witham Community Fridge is located inside the hub. Our dedicated team of volunteers go to local supermarkets 6 nights a week to collect any usable surplus and take it back to the hub. We also accept items from you. There are no awkward questions asked if you want to use the fridge, we run the fridge on the basis you can leave a donation if you can to go towards the hub running costs, so just pop in with a bag and take what you need and leave what you can.We also have a lot of heavily disc ted food which you are able to buy.
