First Stop Centre - Education Classes

We provide a range of services to the community - including a range of confidence courses, employability, IT, budgeting and crafting. We can help with CV building /Job search help/Confidence classes/ IT and Maths Skills. We aim to meet the needs of all members of the community both in-house and through referrals to other appropriate local organizations.

Our Confidence classes run for 6 weeks and are delivered alongside Employability Confidence. They are aimed at anyone who hasn't worked for a while or wants to return to work. We can help with CV's and help you find opportunities and apply for jobs or volunteering roles.

Maths and Budgeting Courses - We offer free maths and budgeting courses with our partners Santander and Multiply - please telephone for more details and to book a place.

Crafting and Digital skills (Saturdays) - Do you need help with your digital device/s? or are you wanting something creative to do on a Saturday? First Stop Centre can help with both of these. You can be a complete beginner or just want to come and take part in either. All digital sessions are based on what you need to learn- be that on a tablet, SMART phone or other device. Crafting sessions are usually working towards a theme, depending on the time of year. Please call to book onto a session.
