POP Essex: Stay & Play Sessions
POP Essex was founded in July 2022 by a group of SEND parents, looking to fulfil the needs of SEND Families in Essex who needed a safe, secure and non-judgemental environment for their children to play, socialise and above all, be themselves. Our SEND stay & play sessions are held weekly in the Braintree (old Argos building), Braintree, Essex. There is a charge for this Service - £10 per 3 hour Stay and Play session.

- The mission of POP Essex is to create a safe and secure environment for children and young people with complex special educational needs and disabilities to be able play and experience childhood activities that they often struggle to access, to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages our service users and their families to form good relationships with our staff and to make bonds with their peers.
- We want to provide inclusive toys and equipment that will enrich their childhoods, with the Power Of Play.
- Children and young people with complex special educational needs and disabilities deserve to be able to explore their surroundings, play freely and engage with people who understand their needs, whilst being safe.
