Carers First understands that life as a carer can be challenging. Getting the support and help you need shouldn’t be. Carers First works directly with, and for, thousands of carers, and we understand that your needs and situation are as unique as you are. We facilitate numerious carer support groups across Essex and one off social events please do check out our website for more information.
We can give you access to support and benefits you might not have been aware of. We can connect you to other carers and help you find time for yourself. Together, we will help you find the support right for your needs.
We can now offer help with access to Household Support fund.

Who can use this service?
How are services delivered?
Adult carers aged over 18 years who look after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction cannot manage without their support. ( based in Mid or South Essex )
Personalised 1-1 support in the community, Social groups Support groups Virtual Drop-ins.
We will provide you with personalised and tailored advice online, by phone, or face to face.
